Clarissa’s frequent pop culture references make her stuck in her own time.  Her favorite band is Pearl Jam.  Sam looks like he belongs in a grunge band.  And amid the corded phones and calculators the size of iPads, Clarissa predicts “by the year 2000, virtual reality television could replace the need to go to school.”

  1. not to complain about free content, but (for what little the opinion of an anonymous visitor is worth), these articles with a tiny bit of content stretched out over many pages are really annoying. I don’t even bother to read them anymore. I’d really recommend doing them as one page if you want many readers to get all the way to the last one
