Lady Gaga Debuts “Marry the Night” Teaser, Breaks From Creative Director

The Gaga is back with a new teaser for “Marry the Night,” her fifth Born This Way single. The two-minute clip shows Gaga, accompanied by two nurses, on a gurney in a clinic and has cryptic narration by Mother Monster herself. She proclaims, “Memories are not recycled like atoms and particles in quantum physics. They can be lost forever. It’s sort of like my past is an unfinished painting, and as the artist of that painting, I must fill in all the ugly holes and make it beautiful again. It’s not that I’ve been dishonest; it’s just that I loathe reality.” Look out for the full video on Gaga’s official Vevo. News also broke that the popstar has cut ties with her (now former) creative director, Laurieann Gibson, after disagreements over other recent music videos and the stylistic direction of Gaga’s image.

Beyoncé Drops Live Video of “I Was Here,” Prepares for DVD Release

In preparation for her live DVD release, Beyoncé debuted footage from her performance of “I Was Here” at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. The clip is streaming now on her official Vevo, while the 26-song DVD comes out on Nov. 29. Live at Roseland also features personal footage and home videos from B’s childhood; the deluxe version includes a booklet and video anthology.

Justin Bieber Paternity Suit Dismissed

The 20-year-old woman who claimed Justin Bieber was the father of her child reportedly dropped her paternity lawsuit last week. Mariah Yeater claimed to have had a sexual encounter with the Biebz after a Los Angeles concert last fall, and was seeing child support for her son, born earlier this year. Despite the lawsuit, Bieber tore up the charts with his first Christmas full-length, “Under the Mistletoe,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.

Justin Timberlake Attends Military Ball With Lucky Fan

Justin Timberlake was the talk of the evening, appearing with date Cpl. Kelsey De Santis at the Marine Corps Ball in Richmond, Va. De Santia asked Timberlake to the ball via YouTube after another service member had successfully asked out JT’s Friends With Benefits co-star Mila Kunis in the same manner. After the event, Timberlake wrote on his website that it was “one of the most moving evenings I’ve ever had.”
