The crisp air met both sides of an emotionally-charged political debate during Thursday afternoon. On the plaza held fast a large group of BU students, faculty, staff, and curious onlookers to a gathering hosted by BU Students for Israel. On the sidewalk, Students for Justice in Palestine continued their protest alongside police supervision. BU officials were also seen observing both sides of the protest. Only a few instances of heated discussions occurred before Boston Police stepped in and restored order. Below are various scenes of both sides of the debate.
